Richmond & Hounslow Amnesty Group's March Meeting

Our next meeting will be on Thursday 9th March. As usual, we'll meet from 8pm - 9.30pm at the Twickenham Club, 7 Church St, Twickenham TW1 3NJ.

At our February meeting we agreed to work with our local PSC to organise a public event, probably in early May. The focus is likely to be the way in which national and local media report on Palestine and Israel. Ambassador Husam Zomlot, Head of the Palestinian Mission to the UK has agreed to speak at the event. 

We'll be holding an Amnesty stall at the event in May. Therefore, next Thursday we'll discuss how to make the most of our stall and which current Amnesty campaigns to feature. We'll also discuss future meetings and the possibility of holding an Amnesty stall in our local area over the summer
