This evening's Unreported World, on Guatemala
Guatemala: Riding with the Devil in the series Unreported World was shown on Channel 4 on Friday 23 October 2009. It showed that bus drivers in Guatemala City are being murdered at the rate of one every other day as part of an extortion campaign by criminal gangs. Some drivers are paying half their wages to gangs in an attempt to buy safety.
